WHO I AM
Electronic, IT & Software Engineer | Board Member | RBL Branch Chair
I’ve a track history for actively making a change and bringing direct innovation to the various roles I play. From leading the way in R&D at work to bringing the latest live-streaming technologies to a local charity.
My day to day can change drastically as I tend to be involved in a range of activities in an effort to improve my personal experiences but also taking the opportunity to use my abilities to improve the are I live in!
WHAT I DO
Using problems to create new solutions
With the mindset of turning problems into opportunities, I methodically and strategically bring new solutions to organisations with a track record of innovation and boundary-pushing for financial and long-term gain
Engineer
Starting as an electronic engineer, through an apprenticeship achieving a HNC, I have progressed and self taught to progress my company’s IT infrastructure and abilities with new software and integrations.
Board Member
Starting in 2020’s lockdown, I joined the Cheshire & Warrington Local Enteprise Partnership’s Engagement Board. I have since been part of the strategy and digital connectivity boards helping the sub-region with direction.
Branch Chair
Since 2018, I have been part of my local branch of the Royal British Legion. Now being the chair, I have gained a range of experience in leadership, event planning, fundraising and more. I have also been able to use my experience to utilise new technologies like live streaming and online donations.
Let’s Chat!
Here’s an AI chatbot – trained to speak like me, with (some) of my knowledge!
Ask about my hobbies, work, projects and more…
How does it work?
I then gathered some data about me, my hobbies, work, etc. (i.e. from LinkedIn) and used an embeddings model to parse the data into vectors, which were then stored on a PineCone database.
When you send a message, a HTTP request is sent to my custom API which is self-hosted, allowing a series of Python scripts to vectorise the input, find the nearest matches in the stored data, and use the fine-tuned GPT-3.5 model to respond, as if it were me using a custom system message to further guide the models response!
